![]() Have you tried forcing Nero to burn at 4X or 2.4X just to test out the theory. My Plextor is a master on one channel and my hard drive is a master on the other. Seems to work fine on every disc.Īny chance you've got "channel competition" between your hard drive and your Plextor. A week ago I switched to DVDShrink 3.2 and now rip, recode, and burn using that (although Nero really does the burning). I had been using DeCrypter to rip, DVD2One to recode, and Nero 5.5.10.28 to burn. ![]() Of course that still would not explain why a disc to disc works and an image to disc doesn't. To be more precise, you may not know how to copy DVD to DVD using Nero. I know my Plextor with Nero always tries to burn at 8X with the Verbatims (rated 1 - 4X). While it is most renowned as the Nero Burning ROM, only this single piece has many practical abilities to use. ![]() One would think that using an image file would be much safer that DVD drive to DVD burner. Dudumania, I'm at a real loss as to what the problem is. ![]()
